در سال 1989 وارد دانشکده پزشکی دانشگاه لودویک ماکسیمیلیان مونیخ شده و در سال 1995 موفق به اخذ مدرک پزشکی عمومی گردید . پس از آن دوره های تخصصی جراحی ارتوپدی در دانشگاههای مونیخ و روستوک را با موفقیت پشت سر گذاشت و پس از دریافت بورد تخصصی جراحی ارتوپدی در مارچ 2003 از دانشگاه مونیخ آلمان، در سال 2007 موفق به گذراندن دوره های فوق تخصصی جراحی مفصل ران و زانو در همان دانشگاه شد. او همچنین دارای مدارک تخصص در زمینه آسیب دیدگی های ورزشی از دانشگاه مونیخ می باشد . دکتر مازوچیان دارای بیش از 35 مقاله علمی (Pubmed Listed) در مجلات معتبر انگلیسی و آلمانی زبان میباشد . همچنین بیش از 200 سخنرانی در کنگره های بین المللی دنیا انجام داده و بالاخره در سال 2013 به درجه علمی دانشیاری (Associate Professor) ارتقاع پیدا کرد و هم اکنون عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه مونیخ میباشد.

دکتر مازوچیان هم اکنون عضو انجمن جراحان و پزشکان متخصص ارتوپدی آلمان (DGOOC)انجمن آرتروسکوپی آلمان- اتریش- سوئیس (AGA) ، انجمن آرتروپلاستی آلمان (AE) و انجمن تروماتولوژی ورزشی آلمان- اتریش- سوئیس (GOTS) می باشد.

دکتر مازوچیان از سال 2004 به عنوان استادیار در دپارتمان جراحی ارتوپدی دانشگاه مونیخ مشغول به فعالیت بوده و از سال 2008 به ریاست دپارتمان جراحی آرتوروپلاستی مفصل ران و زانو برگزیده شدند. در سال 2013 به درجه علمی دانشیاری (Associate Professor) ارتقاع پیدا کرد . او تا به حال بیش از 2000 جراحی در زمینه تعویض مفصل ران و زانو انجام داده است . در حال حاضر عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه مونیخ میباشد و در داخل کشور نیز به انجام جراحی های ارتوپدی می پردازند.
